What this warranty covers

This warranty applies to RF Richmond SPC (Straight Planks & Herringbone) and RF Richmond LVT (Straight Planks) flooring products. It covers the flooring material only against manufacturing defects when used under normal conditions and properly maintained.

• Residential: 10 years from the date of purchase
• Commercial: 5 years from the date of purchase
  

Conditions of coverage

The warranty period runs from the start date (date of purchase) to the end of the applicable period and assumes normal wear and tear with proper maintenance throughout.

What’s not covered (exclusions)

• Subfloor/installation issues: Any defective substrate, uneven flooring, and/or poor installation, including installation by non-qualified installers.
• Misuse or abuse: Any damage arising from misuse or neglect.
• Natural disasters: Events such as floods or similar force-majeure incidents.
• Scratches from movement: Deep scratches caused by incorrectly moving or dragging furniture or appliances.
• Grit and stones: Scratches caused by stones/grit in the soles of shoes.
• Chemicals/materials: Damage caused by materials or chemicals that can harm the floor’s surface or structure.

Note: This warranty covers flooring material only and does not cover labour, installation, removal, re-installation, trims, accessories, or any consequential costs.

How to make a claim

Email hello@rfrichmond.com with:

1. Purchase invoice (proof of purchase)
2. Clear photos of the area(s) claimed as defective
3. Installer details (who carried out the installation)

Care tips (to help avoid issues)

• Use felt pads under furniture and lift — don’t drag — heavy items.

• Clean with appropriate products; avoid harsh or reactive chemicals.
